Consider It Correspondence and Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank have released “Everybody’s Got A Baby But Me” as a digital single along with a brand new video. “Everybody’s Got A Baby But Me” was originally released as the opening track on the Hobo Nephews 2015 album American Shuffle. The digital deluxe version of American Shuffle with bonus studio tracks and demos (including four new songs) will be available next week.
“Everybody’s Got A Baby But Me” is the playful moan of a hopeless romantic who vents his frustrations by pointing out the faults of the husbands and boyfriends in town. The “Everybody’s Got A Baby But Me” video features Ian and Teague Alexy hustling money in a pool hall from all types of characters played by Duluth luminaries including Marc Gartman (Two Many Banjos, Coyote), Bob Monahan (founder of Chaperone Records), Veikko LePisto (Woodblind) and Jim Richardson aka Lake Superior Aqua-man.
Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank with Ryan Young and opening act Actual Wolf are playing two shows to celebrate the digital deluxe release of American Shuffle:
Thursday, July 11 - Hook and Ladder Theater - Minneapolis, MN - HOOK AND LADDER TICKETS
Friday, July 12 - Bent Paddle Taproom - Duluth, MN
